After Holiday Shopping

Yesterday we set out to find some deals on Christmas items. We found the usual items half off-wrapping paper, gits bags, candy, and tape. We were also able to get some items for the food pantry at least half off and more. We used some coupons to get some extra savings as well.

Below are some household items were obtained

• Aluminum Foil
• Parchment Paper
• Storage Bags (These were 75% off at Giant Eagle)
• Kleenex
• Plastic Wrap

After Christmas is a great time to stock up on these items for the entire year. You can find some of these items up to 75% off as we get closer to the New Year. You just have to look at a couple of stores to find the right deals.

We packed the car up yesterday and headed to the pantry with this holiday donation. These donations would not have been possible without the help of our coupon donors. Thanks to everyone who helped out this year.

Cereal Deal at Giant Eagle

Every once in a while we run into such a great deal we can't let it go. This weekend we found cereal at Giant Eagle for just $1.00 a box. It was close to it's expiration date(mostly August) but is was too good of a deal to let go. My husband became obsessed with the deal that we ended up going to five different stores to buy our the cereal. I think we go almost 150 boxes of cereal.

It was for Kellogg's,Kashi, and Giant Eagle brand so it was good stuff.
